Happy Birthday America!

Grab your kids, make these July Fourth recipes and take them to one of these events around Johnson County! Enjoy these small moments with your little ones and remember they won’t be young forever.

Grandview, Tx

  • Grandview Chamber of Commerce and firefly stage will be hosting their annual July Fourth Celebration located at the Firefly stage.
  • The event will begin with the Matt Wayne Band starting at 6, and will also include face painting, balloon art, photo booths, and food.
  • The fireworks show will follow at approximately 9:15 pm.

Cleburne, Tx

  • This HEB sponsored celebration will be held at Lake Pat Cleburne.
  • Come out and enjoy the vendors and food trucks.
  • The boat parade will begin at 8 PM and fireworks to follow at dark.
  • Another option is to attend the Watch party, which includes close parking, music by the Shane Watson Band, and food. This will take place at Cleburne Golf Links starting at 6:30. Limited space available so it is recommended to RSVP at 817-645-2455.

Maypearl, Tx

  • Maypearl will host their July Fourth Celebration on June 30th starting at 4:30 PM with a parade.
  • The event will also include live music with a street dance, games, fireworks, washers tournament, prizes, fun for the kids, and food.
  • Most Importantly the fireworks will begin just after dark.

Joshua, Tx

  • Their Independence Day Celebration will be held on July 3rd at the Owl Stadium.
  • The children’s parade will begin at 7 PM with music to follow by The Dolan Band.
  • Along with the parade will be food trucks and fireworks to begin at dark.
  • This event is Free to the public and hosted by HEB.

Burleson, Tx

  • The Lions Club Parade will begin July Fourth at 9 AM. For route information, visit the City of Burleson.
  • A Concert featuring Incognito with a concession stand available with begin at 7:30 at the Chisenhall Sports Complex.
  • Be sure to bring your lawn chair or blankets for a picnic if you wish!
  • This event is also Free to the public.

Keene, Tx

  • Chamber of Commerce and City Of Keene will host a parade at 9 A.M. on East Magnolia and North College Drive, Entry fee is $10.
  • Following the parade from 10 A.M.-1 P.M. join Keene at the SWAU Gym and Parking lot for Food, Games, Music, and Drawings hosted by the Chamber of Commerce.
